Adrian, MI – Nine positive COVID-19 cases and contact tracing at Adrian Public Schools Elementary Schools have led to the decision to learn remotely until this Friday.

APS Superintendent Bob Behnke said in a letter to parents that they have over 20% of the elementary population in quarantine as a result of being a close contact from a classroom, pre-school, or bus exposure.

Head Start classes at APS buildings will also be remote. Instruction at Springbrook Middle School and Adrian High School will continue in-person as scheduled.

Additional information will be provided from schools and teachers related to remote instruction during this time as well as how to pick-up technology from school if needed.

Superintendent Behnke said that this was not a decision that has been taken lightly, but is the best decision based on the data.
