Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department is in need of a broader volunteer base for their vaccination clinics.
Each week, there is at least one clinic at the Lenawee County Fairgrounds, vaccinating up to 2,000 people per day.
They use medical volunteers to help vaccinate, draw vaccine, and enter vaccinations into the statewide database.
Non-medical volunteers will:
o Greet the public
o Assist with wheelchairs
o Direct individuals to vaccinators
o Disinfect commonly used items
o Review forms for completeness
o And schedule second doses
All clinics are held at the Fairgrounds, and training is provided. For more information, contact the Lenawee County Health Department.
