Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department reported late last week that they have vaccinated almost 10% of residents age 16 and older in the county.

While the State of Michigan is opening up eligibility to more groups, Lenawee County will be focused on vaccinating those over the age of 65 years old.

There are nearly 20,000 individuals over the age of 65, and of those only 45% have received at least one dose of vaccine.

Any individual older than 75 that has been unable to secure a vaccine appointment is urged to call the Lenawee County vaccine hotline at (517) 264-4501 to be placed on a priority list.
