Tecumseh, MI – The City of Tecumseh is starting their 2021 yard waste collection this week.
The eastern zone will be picked up on Tuesday, and the western zone will be on Wednesday.
There are a few yard waste collection guidelines, including:
- Use paper biodegradable yard waste bags.
- You can use your own sturdy can… clearly marked ‘Yard Waste’ … with a lid to keep out rain. The cans cannot be larger than 30 gallons and no heavier than 50 pounds.
- For yard waste cart rental information, call Republic Services at 265-1335.
- Branches must be no more than 4 inches in diameter, they must be cut no more than 4 feet long, and tied in bundles no more than 1 foot in diameter and weigh no more than 50 pounds.
- Leave bundles at the curbside for pickup.
