Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services continues to update the public on COVID-19.
The LCHD reported on Tuesday that there are 42 new confirmed cases. The number of hospitalizations dropped down to 8 people… and there have been 2 new COVID-19 deaths since Friday, increasing the total number to 109.
91% of the 5,781 total confirmed cases are considered discontinued from isolation and improving, with 7% monitoring at home.
Statewide on Tuesday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 775 new confirmed cases.
There were 19 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Tuesday, and there have now been 15,177 total deaths from the virus.
The MDHHS reports that there have been 1,634,609 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine administered statewide as of Sunday. There have been 16,757 doses administered in Lenawee County.
