
Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services continues to update the public on COVID-19.
There have been 11,455 vaccines administered in Lenawee… compared to 5,685 total confirmed cases.
Statewide on Monday, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that there were 1,769 new confirmed cases from Sunday and Monday.
There were 11 new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide Monday, and there have now been 14,905 total deaths from the virus.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Monday that there were 56 new cases over the weekend, with 20 hospitalized, and 5 additional deaths… increasing the countywide total to 103.
The MDHHS reports that there have been 1,186,630 Michiganders administered a shot as of last Thursday. As of Monday, there have been 569,417 total confirmed cases. On Saturday, the MDHHS Department reported 498,495 recoveries from COVID-19.
In Lenawee, 89% of the 5,685 total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving with 9% of the total confirmed cases monitoring at home.
