
Adrian, MI – The State of Michigan gave an update on Wednesday afternoon about the COVID-19 virus… cases, deaths, recoveries, and vaccinations.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reported that statewide, there were 2,031 new confirmed cases.
There were 40 new COVID-19 deaths statewide Wednesday, with 13,905 total deaths from the virus.
The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Wednesday that there were 42 new cases, with 24 hospitalized, and zero additional deaths… holding the countywide total at 79.
On the vaccination front, the MDHHS reports that there have been 512,906 Michiganders administered a shot as of Monday.
In Lenawee, 74% of the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 are considered discontinued from isolation and improving with 24% of the total confirmed cases monitoring at home.
As of Tuesday, there have been 5,440 vaccines administered in Lenawee County.
