Two Break-ins Within Two Months at Lenawee County Business

Tecumseh, MI – Crime Stoppers of Lenawee is asking for the public’s help with information concerning the identity of the suspect responsible for two break-ins within two months at Briskey Brothers in Tecumseh.

In late August, the Michigan State Police responded to the business located on North Adrian Highway after a neighbor found the door to the office had been forced open. The surveillance video shows a single white male entering the office building and opening desk drawers in the office area. The suspect is then seen attempting to break into a safe in the office area. The suspect could not break into the safe, and they left the business after stealing one of the work trucks. The truck was recovered a few hours later in the area of Church and Gulf Streets, in the City of Adrian.

On October 24th, the Lenawee County Sheriff ‘s Office responded to Briskey Brothers Construction again, for an employee that discovered his personal vehicle was missing. Law enforcement found that the safe was also missing from the office. The surveillance video shows a single white male struggling to load the safe in the employee’s stolen pickup and then the suspect leaving on M-52 heading towards Adrian. A few hours later, the safe was discovered in the area of Treat and US 223. The safe was recovered, and the stolen truck was discovered in a parking lot on James Street, near Beecher Street, in the City of Adrian.

The suspect is described as a white male under 6’ tall with a medium build wearing dark clothing, a hood and a mask covering everything except his eyes.
