
Adrian, MI – All seven of the Lenawee County Commission seats were up for a vote on Tuesday, with two of them being contested. Here’s the unofficial results after all Lenawee County precincts were reported:
District 1 – Incumbent Republican David Stimpson defeated Democratic challenger Bill Swift 6,741 – 8,917
District 2 – John Lapham, a Republican, ran unopposed and won his seat back with 5,071 votes
District 3 – Republican Nancy Jenkins-Arno ran unopposed to keep her seat on the commission, getting 4,219 votes
District 4 – Dawn Bales, a Republican, ran unopposed and kept her seat. She received 4,219 votes
District 5 – Karol Bolton, a Democrat, kept her seat on the Commission…receiving 2,294 votes
District 6 – One of the two contested races on the Lenawee County Commission saw Incumbent Republican Terry Collins hold off Democratic challenger Juanita Kelley by a vote of 2,301 to 2,140
District 7 – Republican James Goetz won his unopposed race, receiving 5,028 votes
District 8 – Raph Tillotson, the incumbent Republican, won an uncontested race with 4,752 votes
District 9 – Incumbent Republican Chris Wittenbach won his seat unopposed, receiving 5,126 votes
The results posted Tuesday night/Wednesday morning are unofficial and must be canvassed.
