Adrian, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department has lifted an executive order restricting gatherings to no more than 25 people not of the same household within Adrian Township, Madison Township, the City of Adrian, Siena Heights University, and Adrian College.
The local emergency order, issued on September 3rd, was in response to a 182% increase in COVID-19 cases among 18 to 24-year-olds in the month of August.
The Health Department said in a press release Wednesday afternoon that recent data show a decrease in cases in that age group during the last three weeks of September; citing that 71% of the cases occurred during the first week of the month.
They will continue to monitor the data closely and consider future action as necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
