Morenci, MI – The annual Labor Day Mackinac Bridge walk was canceled this year, however, the bridge walk in Morenci is still on.
Morenci’s 26th annual Labor Day bridge walk will be on Monday, September 7th at 11am at the Silver Creek bridge… located on the south side of Morenci, just off South East Street.
Morenci Mayor Sean Seger will be speaking as well as local politicians and other guest speakers. Guest speakers will have no more than 60 seconds to talk.
Proper social distancing protocols will be followed. Because of the pandemic, the bridge walk committee is unable to sell T-shirts. Instead, the committee is encouraging everyone to wear their shirt from one of the 25 past bridge walks. Prizes will be awarded for certain shirts being worn.
