Adrian, MI – A kitchen fire at Rivers Bend Apartments in Adrian forced residents to temporarily evacuate Tuesday evening.
City of Adrian Fire Captain Mike Springer told WLEN News that the fire was quickly extinguished by the tenant after getting her children out of the building.
The cooking fire… that occurred at around 7pm… was extinguished before Adrian City, Madison Township, and Adrian Township Fire Departments reached the scene. Springer said that they were able to clear the smoke from the building fairly easily.
