Lenawee County, MI – Food Safety Educators will be hosting a live online webinar focusing on Pantry Food Safety…It’s Your Job… twice next month.
The program will cover why food safety in a food bank/pantry is important, hand-washing, personal hygiene, cleaning and sanitizing, receiving food product, storage of food product, re-packaging, and the Bill Emerson Good Samaritan Food Donation Law.
Food Safety Educators will be available for this session and will provide the most up-to-date research-based information.
The first webinar will be from 2-5pm on Tuesday, September 1st…. With the second on Tuesday September 22nd from 9am-Noon.
