Adrian, MI – A suspect stole a car from the Bell Ford dealership in Adrian, fled authorities, crashed into a front porch, and left the scene on foot early Tuesday morning.
A deputy from the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office located the stolen vehicle on South Main near Beecher Street and attempted to make a traffic stop. The suspect failed to stop which led to a brief pursuit by the Deputy.
The stolen vehicle was then driven into the front porch of a residence on Toledo Street, at which time, the driver fled on foot.
No one was at the house at the time. The Michigan State Police K9 was requested to the scene to search for the suspect.
They were not located Tuesday morning, and their whereabouts are unknown at this time.
The Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the MSP Monroe Post and the Adrian Police Department.
