Congressman Walberg said that President Trump is not trying to stop people from voting in November…

Also, a media advisory was sent in to WLEN News saying that a peaceful protest is planned for Saturday, August 22nd at the Adrian Post Office at 11am. This is part of a nationwide mobilization taking place at post offices across the country. To protest will take place outside, and attendees are asked to wear a mask and social distance. Any questions, email Hank Cetola at hcetola@gmail.com.

According to the advisory from Mr. Cetola, people from all walks of life who are determined to defend the essential services provided by the United States Postal Service—including the ability to vote by mail—will push back on the Trump administration’s attacks by organizing a grassroots action outside the post office.

The advisory said that those joining the actions will call on Postmaster General Louis DeJoy to resign in the wake of mail slowdowns, and will call on Congress to “protect and save the post office from Donald Trump” and act to safeguard the integrity of our mail and elections.
