Lenawee County, MI – The Lenawee County Health Department reported on Tuesday afternoon that there were 290 total confirmed cases of COVID-19, an increase of six from Monday.

There are 107 people monitoring at home, and 167 people “discontinued from isolation and improving.”

Five people were in the hospital as of Tuesday afternoon. 11 total deaths from COVID-19 have been reported in Lenawee County.

How is the virus impacting surrounding counties?

Jackson: 571 confirmed cases (+9 since Monday) with 31 deaths (+0 since Monday)

Monroe: 641 confirmed cases (+4) with 20 deaths (+0)

Hillsdale: 204 confirmed cases (+0) with 25 deaths (+0)

Washtenaw: 1,860 confirmed cases (+12) with 110 deaths (+1)

There were 74,725 total confirmed cases, with 573 new cases reported on Monday. There were 9 deaths reported on Tuesday, with 4 of those identified during a Vital Records review. The total deaths from COVID-19 in Michigan, as reported by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, is at 6,135.

55,162 people (+ 1,295 since last week) are being reported as recovered as of Friday, July 17th. Recovered is defined as the number of persons with a confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis who are alive 30 days post-onset (or referral date if onset is not available). Recovery numbers are updated every Saturday.
