Lenawee County COVID-19 Update: May 4th, 2020

Adrian, MI – Of the 107 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lenawee County, 46% of them are classified as “discontinued from isolation and improving.”

Updated numbers from the Lenawee County Health Department Monday afternoon indicated 49 of the 107 confirmed cases are improving. 49% (52 individuals) of the positive cases are monitoring at home.

4% (4 people) were hospitalized as of Monday afternoon. 2% (2 people) from Lenawee County…have died from COVID-19.

Of the 107 confirmed positive cases… 55% of them are men, while 45% are women.

President of Bixby Medical Center and Herrick Hospital, Dr. Julie Yaroch, told listeners on View Point Saturday morning that they have increased the number of tests being administered in Lenawee County…

The State of Michigan has reported over 43,700 confirmed cases of COVID-19, with more than 4,000 deaths, and over 15,600 recoveries.
