City of Adrian Starts Curbside Spring Yard Waste Collection

Adrian, MI – The City of Adrian has started the Spring Yard Waste Collection process… and will continue through May 8th.

The City will collect yard waste and bundled branches and brush twice throughout the city limits. Yard waste must be placed at the curb no later than 7am on May 8th.

All yard waste must be placed in biodegradable and or compostable paper bags and must not weigh more than fifty pounds. Unapproved containers, including plastic bags, will not be picked up.

Bundled branches and brush must:
• Be tied in bundles no longer than three feet.
• Be Placed parallel with the curb.
• Weigh less than fifty pounds.

The compost site, located off of Oakwood Avenue, will open this Saturday. The compost site will be open Tuesdays from Noon to 7pm and Saturdays from 8am to 2pm.
