The Family Dollar store located on West Maumee in Adrian is back open for business after being closed for repairs on January 31st.
The City condemned the building following a notice of violation issued in November of 2019…then a civil infraction issued in January of this year.

There was no timeline requiring the owners to bring the building back up to code.
An employee told WLEN News that they are happy with the tough stance the City took with the landlords, and that the landlords fixed the leaking roof.
The store is open to the public…as an essential business… from 9am to 8pm every day. The staff told WLEN News that the first hour is being reserved for seniors and those with disabilities or are immune compromised.
