HUDSON, MI- A raffle drawing, dinner, and concert will take place in September to raise funds to rebuild the Hudson Press Box at Thompson Field.
The event will take place September 21st at the Hudson American Legion.
Two hundred tickets are being sold to enter the $1,000 Grand Prize drawing and take part in the fun evening.
Besides the Grand Prize drawing, there will be bucket drawings, a wine pull, and other games. Following dinner, a Beatles tribute band will round out the evening. Tickets are $50 and the doors open at 5:30pm.
The press box, which was built in 1964, looks much the same as it did then. Fifty years of wear and tear, together with features that are not up to code, make this project a necessity.
