The Hickman Cancer Center in Adrian has installed a new Linear Accelerator… the machine that administers radiation to cancer patients undergoing treatment.
WLEN News got a first-hand look at the new machine, and the room it is housed. The total cost of the project was around 3.5 million dollars, and included the new machine, an upgraded cooling system, new computers and software, and new walls enclosing the space.
