
Adrian, MI – The Zonta Club of Lenawee awarded seven local non-profits with grant awards totaling $11,350. The club annually awards grants to local organizations with programs that support women and children in Lenawee County.
2019 Grant Recipients:
• Catholic Charities of Jackson, Lenawee & Hillsdale: Lenawee Child Advocacy Center = $3,600.
• Community Learning Connections: ROX Program = $2,500.
• Boys & Girls Club of Lenawee: Smart Girls Program = $2,000.
• Share The Warmth = $1,500.
• Habitat for Humanity of Lenawee County: 30th Anniversary Repair Program = $1,000.
• Jasmynn’s Voice: Bringing a Voice to Autism = $500.
• Michigan Foster Care Closet: Walking a Mile in Their Shoes = $250.
The Zonta Club of Lenawee is hosting their annual fundraiser, Corks and Caps on Friday, September 6 at the Hills of Lenawee Golf & Banquet Center with an “Imagine” theme. The event raises funds for the service organization’s grant program. Tickets are available online: www.zontaoflenawee.org.
