The Adrian City Commission held a rather eventful regular meeting, including the swearing in of a new police officer, and the passing of the fiscal year 2019-20 budget.

Several Adrian Police Officers were recognized for their efforts during the barricaded gunman situation in the city earlier this month. Adrian Police Chief, Vince Emrick, had this to say about the officers that were recognized…

Left to right: Lieutenant James Loffing, Officer Michaela Merillat, Acting Sergeant Kevin Putnam, Officer Adryan Robinson, and Officer Jeremy Powers. *Sergeant Leslie Keane was unable to receive her recognition at the meeting.*

Chief Emrick went on to talk about the newest officer on the force, Michaela Merillat…

Adrian City Administrator Burd talked to WLEN News about the fiscal year 2019-20 budget approval…
The commission approved a Development Agreement with PlaneWave Instruments for improvements of real property at 1375 North Main Street (their Adrian Campus).
