Two Women Sentenced in Autism Center Abuse Cases

Two women charged in connection with child abuse charges have been sentenced in Lenawee County Circuit Court.

Sarah Phillips and Erinn Tiede were sentenced by Judge Anna Marie Anzalone Thursday afternoon.

Both Phillips and Tiede were charged with child abuse after videos surfaced of them abusing autistic children who were in their care at the Center for Autism at ProMedica Bixby Hospital in Adrian back in 2018.

Phillips must also pay various court costs, and has the right to appeal the sentence.
