
It was quite an eventful Tecumseh Public Schools Board of Education Meeting Monday night…and the drama carried over into Tuesday morning.
Tecumseh Public Schools Superintendent Ryan Rhoades was placed on a non-disciplinary administrative paid leave by the school board starting Tuesday… a day after his Superintendent contract was approved unanimously by the board.
Allegations brought against Rhoades at the March 25th Board of Education meeting have triggered an investigation will be conducted by an independent firm.
In a statement from Board President Tim Simpson, the board says they cannot go into detail. The Board of Education is working to secure an individual to serve in the role of interim superintendent during the investigation period.
At the meeting on Monday night, Assistant Superintendent Griff Mills resigned from his position.
