
The William G. Thompson House Museum and Gardens (Thompson Museum) is hosting the Day of the Dead Dash, a 5K run/walk on the City of Hudson’s trails, on Saturday, November 3 at 4:00 PM. Registration begins at 3:00 PM at the start/finish line located at the Hudson City Parking lot, behind 200 block of West Main Street.
Top male and female racers will receive a trophy. Top three males and females in 10 year age group will receive an award (19 and below; 20 – 29; 30 – 39; 40 – 49; 50 – 59; 60+). There will also be awards for the best zombie costume (one male and one female winner).
The Day of the Dead Dash entry form is available at the Thompson Museum, Rumors Inc., Running with E’s in Adrian or online at thompsonmuseum.org. Registration is $25 per person, with a $5 discount with a donation of 5 or more canned/non-perishable food items for the Hudson Area Food Pantry. Drop off registration at Rumors Inc. or Thompson Museum for discounted registration. Register early for guaranteed shirt size. There will be a post race party at Rumors Inc, 212 W. Main St, on their outdoor patio. Proceeds from the event benefit the Thompson Museum and the Hudson Area Food Pantry.
