The Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee has accepted the resignation of Stacy Gamel from her position as Executive Director effective July 6th, 2018.
Gamel has been with the Club for the past two years. In that time she has strengthened community connections, helped usher in the nightly meal program and initiated a relationship with Impact Sports at the Club.
Sara Bingham Herriman has been named Interim Executive Director effective July 7th. She will serve in this capacity as the organization conducts a search for its next Executive Director.
Today the Club serves over 1,600 members in 10 school districts and is a bus stop for students in Madison and Adrian schools. In October of 2005, an extension unit was opened in Hudson, that serves over 200 youth annually. The Boys and Girls Club of Lenawee provides a fun, safe and constructive environment for Lenawee youth ages 6 to 18 years during out-of-school hours.
