Adrian City Commission to Consider Increasing Number of Provisioning Centers; Tecumseh City Council to Debate Resolution to Appoint New DDA Director

The Adrian City Commission will convene at 5:30pm this evening for a pre-meeting, and then again at 7 for their regular meeting. The Tecumseh City Council will meet at 7:30pm at the Tecumseh City Hall, The LISD Board of Education will meet at 4pm at the LISD William J. Ross Education Service Center, located at 4107 N. Adrian Highway. The Lenawee County Airport Commission meeting took place at 301 North Main Street in Adrian at 1:30pm. The Lenawee County Physical Resources Committee met at 10am in the Committee Room on the second floor of the Old County Courthouse.

The termination of an agreement between the City of Adrian and LCA for Paramedic Ambulance Services will be considered by the Adrian City Commission tonight at 7pm at their meeting. A resolution to recommend a liquor license for Downtown Dempsey’s will also be reviewed.  A method to hire the next full-time city administrator for the city is also on the table for discussion. Items included in their pre-meeting will be to talk about changing the number of allowed Medical Marihuana Provisioning Centers in the city and an Ethics Policy proposed by Human Relations. 

The appointment of a new Downtown Development Director for the City of Tecumseh is on the agenda for tonight’s meeting of the Tecumseh City Council. There will be a closed session near of the meeting for council members to be briefed on any potential changes to the contracts between the city and Police Officers Labor Council, and the International Union of Operating Engineers. The collective bargaining agreements between the city and those two organizations will expire on June 30th.
