Customers were waiting in line to dine at the new fast-casual restaurant, that was open at 6am Thursday, May 31st. Located near the intersection of Division Street and US-223 in Madison Township, Panera Bread offers sandwiches, soups, baked goods, and much more.
Before the opening, WLEN News talked to Garry Hiser, the Area Operating Partner for Panera Bread, and he was appreciative of the community and was optimistic about this location…
The location will employ roughly 50 people. Before this restaurant opened, the nearest Panera Bread was in either Ann Arbor, Jackson, or Toledo, Ohio. It’s design is unique to only a few other Panera locations nationwide.
