The Adrian Area Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Bill Kenyon as Interim President and CEO while its Transition Committee works to assess candidates and other opportunities.
Kenyon will provide interim leadership due to the resignation of current President and CEO John Bartoszewicz effective May 16, 2018.
Ashley Hutchison, Chair of the Adrian Area Chamber Board of Directors, said in a statement, “We are grateful that Bill has agreed to serve in this interim capacity. As a highly respected leader in our community, he will keep the Adrian Chamber moving forward during this time of transition. I have the utmost respect for and confidence in Bill and know that our membership will appreciate what he brings to the table.”
Kenyon said he looks forward to assisting the Chamber while it is in transition. “It’s important that the Chamber programs continue in the absence of a permanent President and CEO,” Kenyon stated. “There is a small, but dedicated team in place as well as many helpful volunteers. I look forward to working closely with them to serve the local business community.”
