WLEN Named MAB Station of the Year

ADRIAN — WLEN and Lenawee Multimedia Network have been named Station of the Year by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters after earning multiple awards across news, sports, feature programming, and digital content.

Larry Hall and Dale Gaertner earned honors for their morning show work, while Bryan Vish received multiple awards for continuing coverage, feature stories, and documentary reporting. Ian Wendt was recognized for breaking news, investigative reporting, and sports coverage.

Joe Johns earned awards tied to feature programming, station promos, and specialty broadcasts, while Kathy Williams was honored for the Inside ProMedica podcast series. Shannon Renee and WQTE-FM also earned recognition for OTT Content with Pink on the Dial.

Additional awards highlighted the work of Laura Rutkowski, Mark Hyre, Shawn Witmer, Julie Koehn, Sasha Wilkerson, and John Koehn.
