
Robert Roman Kaczor, age 78, of Hudson, died Saturday evening, April 18, 2026, under the care of Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian. He was born April 4, 1948, in Perrysburg, Ohio, to Frank and Isabel Kaczor.
Robert married the love of his life, the former Mary Elizabeth Nagy, on August 26, 1967, in Gibsonburg, OH. Together, they raised two sons and shared over 53 years of companionship prior to her passing on September 22, 2020.
Robert was employed as a foreman for the former Metalloy Foundry in Hudson. In his spare time Bob enjoyed painting pictures of scenery and birds. Spending time in his barn doing woodworking and tinkering on lots of projects. His passion was to make Mary happy. He would take her to all her political rallies or wherever she wanted to go. Her passing left an unfillable void.
Surviving is a son, Robert Kaczor, Jr.; a grandson, Jared Kaczor; three brothers Budd, John, and Steve; two sisters Carol, and Cathy.
In addition to his parents and wife, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Rick Kaczor.
In accordance with Robert’s final wishes, cremation will take place, a memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026, from 1p.m. -3 p.m. with military rights conduct by the Hudson, American Legion post #180 at 3 p.m.
