Walter J. Foreman Sr of Harrison Michigan formerly of Hudson, age 86, passed away Wednesday March 25, 2026, at the Hospice of Lenawee surrounded by his loving family. Walter was born on August 2, 1939, in Monroeville, Ohio to Raymond and Virginia (Hayes) Foreman.
Walter married the love of his life, Carol M. Shelle. on April 29, 1978, in Hudson, MI. and she preceded him in death in 2018. Walter worked for many years for RIMA Manufacturing and later ran W.C. Salvage Yard in Hudson. Walter lived on a farm where he spent his time milking cows and baling hay. Walter also enjoyed fishing in his spare time, and playing cards, especially euchre.
Walter is survived by his eight children: Walter J (Kim) Foreman Jr. of Clyde, OH, Mary (Jerry) Phillips of Peru, IN, Betty (Brad) Wilson of Hudson. MI, Kathleen (Jeff) Roe of Adrian, MI, John (Pearl) Foreman of Peru, IN, Andrew Foreman of Richman, MI, John Foreman of Lennon, MI, and Joshua Foreman of Hillsdale, MI; 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, a sister and brother. Walter is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, 2 sons, and 5 siblings.
A private service for Walter will take place at a later date.
