TECUMSEH — The Kiwanis Club of Tecumseh is inviting the community to the 5th annual Kiwanis Canoe Race on Saturday, June 6th.
Organizers say the family-friendly event will bring together racers, volunteers, sponsors, and spectators for a day on the water, with proceeds supporting programs that benefit children in the local community.
Kiwanis says fundraising from the canoe race and other efforts helps provide youth scholarships, donations to local nonprofits, and support for school backpack programs.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and community supporters interested in backing the event.
