BLISSFIELD — Hydrant flushing is scheduled in Blissfield later this month.
The Blissfield Public Works Department will conduct a village-wide flushing of water hydrants from April 12th through April 24th.
Work will take place overnight between 11 p.m. and 6 a.m. to minimize disruption for residents.
Officials say people may notice water that appears rusty during the process, but it remains safe to use and drink.
Residents are advised to check water color before doing laundry, and if discoloration is present, run cold water briefly to clear the lines.
