ADRIAN — Adrian Public Schools is recognizing an Adrian High School senior for national academic achievement.
Emma Pino has been named a Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program. The honor places her among a select group of students nationwide recognized for strong performance on the PSAT.
According to program officials, Commended Students show exceptional academic promise and potential for continued success at the collegiate level.
Adrian High School Principal Sam Skeels says Pino’s recognition reflects her hard work and dedication, adding that she represents the best of the school.
Pino plans to attend the University of Notre Dame this fall.
