Richard Dalton Schneider, age 86, of Brooklyn, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Lynwood Manor.
Born on November 22, 1939, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Richard was the son of Nelson and Virginia Ruth (Young) Schneider. He graduated from Pioneer High School and went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1961. After completing his military service, he earned an associate degree from Cleary College.
Richard worked as a beer truck driver for Budweiser. In his free time, he enjoyed woodworking and crafting birdhouses, often sharing his creations at craft shows. He took great pride in maintaining his yard and could frequently be found mowing. Richard also enjoyed hosting gatherings at the campground, creating cherished memories with those around him.
To cherish his memory, Richard leaves his daughters, Carrie Schneider and Cathleen Glenn; daughter-in-law, Deborah Guerin; grandchildren: Samantha Guerin, Alex Guerin, Brandon Schneider, Austin Schneider, Keegan Glenn, and Renny Glenn.
In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Guerin, and a sister, Janet Crawford.
