
PLYMOUTH, MI — Lenawee County Veterans Affairs is sharing details about the upcoming Salute to Service Weekend at USA Hockey Arena in Plymouth, Michigan. An annual event honoring veterans, service members and their families.
The event, now in its 15th year, is part of activities recognizing America’s 250th anniversary and is organized with Team USA, USA Hockey and Folds of Honor Motor City.
Veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, law enforcement and their families may attend on either Friday, March 20, or Saturday, March 21.
Doors open at 5 p.m., featuring a veteran resource fair, family activities, hospitality access and food vouchers.
At 7 p.m., Team USA will take the ice against Waterloo, followed by additional activities. The evening typically concludes around 9:15 p.m.
Admission includes free parking, food vouchers, raffles, children’s activities and patriotic tributes.
Free admission is available to the first 1,500 service members, veterans and family members each night who RSVP by March 10. Tickets will be confirmed through the arena box office.
