LENAWEE CO. — The Home and Garden Show returns this weekend with a focus on trusted contractors and consumer protection.

Executive Officer Pat O’Dowd of the Home Builders Association of Jackson, Hillsdale and Lenawee Counties sat down with Dale Gaertner on Community Conversation.

O’Dowd says vendor credibility is central to the event.

The 50th annual Home and Garden Show runs Friday through Sunday at the American One Event Center at the Jackson County Fairgrounds.

Nearly 90 vendors will be on site.

Admission is $5 with VIP passes available throughout the community.

Organizers say the event is designed to connect residents with licensed, accountable local contractors.
