Cristal Janet Milner, 86 of Blissfield passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Addison to Vohne G. and Florence Helen (Maxim) Church on August 22, 1939. After high school, Cristal attended Riggs School of Beauty and Van Fike School of Hair Design, becoming a beautician, a career choice that would lead to The Crystal Room and Men’s Salon in Blissfield for many years.
Cristal married Glennis Milner on April 4, 1966, in Morenci, a marriage that lasted 53 years until his passing in 2019. She was blessed with four children: Brenda, Russell, Shawn and Brian. She stayed busy with her flower garden, which she tended with love and attention to detail. Stepping into her home, just as her flower garden, it was decorated to perfection with every detail thoroughly thought out. Cristal enjoyed her summer hideout at Evans Lake, a place to relax and be with family, where she mastered the art of the crossword puzzle. Later in life, her love of home decor led her into Real Estate where she could tour homes, find inspiration, and sell a few houses along the way.
Cristal is survived by three children: Russell (Lisa) Bilby, Shawn (Andrea) Milner, Brian (Karman) Milner. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Dexter (Linda) Church and Tracy (Jennifer) Church, and her daughter Brenda (Barry) Kafer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Nathaniel, Nicholas (Kara), Elizabeth, Randall (Melissa), David (Sarah), Gregory (Melissa), Melissa (Aaron) and Ethan (Mandie) as well as 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitations will take place on Monday, February 23, from 6 to 8 pm at Wagley Funeral Home Tagsold Chapel, and Tuesday, February 24 from 10 to 11am at Light of Christ Parish, both in Blissfield. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 24, at 11am at Light of Christ Parrish. Following Mass a luncheon will be served at the church.
