
ADRIAN — Lenawee County is seeking applicants for three open board appointments, offering residents an opportunity to serve in local government roles.
The Lenawee County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for the Department on Aging Advisory Board, the Emergency 911 District Board, and the Materials Management Planning Committee.
The Department on Aging Advisory Board position carries a three-year term representing District 4 and meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at 1 p.m.
The Emergency 911 District Board seat is a three-year term for a general public representative and meets every other month on the second Thursday at 3 p.m.
The Materials Management Planning Committee position is a five-year term and requires the applicant to be an elected official of a Lenawee County city or village. That board meets monthly on the first Wednesday at 10 a.m.
All meetings are held at the historic Old County Courthouse in Adrian.
Applications may be submitted to the Lenawee County Board of Commissioners through the Personnel and Ways and Means Committee.
