ADRIAN — Adrian College has released a statement regarding the impending closure of Lourdes University.
The private Franciscan University based in Sylvania, Ohio, announced on Wednesday their intent to shut down at the end of the academic year.
In a statement released Thursday, President Jeffrey Docking acknowledged the decision as, quote, “a significant moment for higher education in our region and beyond.” unquote.
Docking also wrote that Adrian College would, “offer support where appropriate as students seek pathways to continue their academic journeys.”
