ADRIAN — The Warner trial continued today in 39th Circuit Court, where jurors heard testimony about conflict inside the marriage and saw body camera footage from the first hours of the investigation.
Dale Warner is charged with open murder and tampering with evidence in connection to the April 25, 2021 disappearance and death of his wife. He has pleaded not guilty.
One of Dee Warner’s adult children testified about frequent verbal arguments between the couple, often centered on money and business disputes. The witness also described searching multiple properties after she was reported missing and discovering her wedding ring inside the office.
Jurors then watched body camera footage from a Lenawee County sheriff’s deputy who responded to the missing person call that night. In the video, Warner suggested his wife may have left voluntarily and referenced health issues and personal belongings.
The Warner trial continues next week on Tuesday, February 17, at 9 am.
