
Kenneth Alfred Fick was born on July 12th, 1947, at Bixby Hospital to Alfred and Eleanor (Shadewald) Fick of Blissfield. Ken was diagnosed with Cancer on January 6, 2026, and died February 11th 2026 at home with his wife at his side, and under the care of Hospice of Lenawee. Ken attended Blissfield schools through his Junior year. He then went on to graduate from Sand Creek high school in 1965. During his high school years he worked with his Dad building houses. He worked at Hydro Aluminum (Bohn Aluminum) retiring after 39 years. On May 24, 1978, he married Wanda Palmer in Toledo, Ohio. Ken built their home and Cabin in Harrison, Michigan, with the help of family and friends. He, built two pole barns and remodeled a house for his in laws.
He was proceeded in death by his Father, Brother-in-law Charles Wilson and Nephew Randall (Andy) Palmer, and 3 Carin Terriers, Buddy, Sammy and Willy. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, his Mother, and his son Kenneth Alan Fick, Sister Connie Wilson and her Children, Cindi (Jeff) Pawlaczyk, and their children, Peyton and Colten; Brother Dennis Fick, Brother in law Randall Palmer and his grandson Lincoln Palmer: Sister in law Debbie Palmer and her son Jay (Gwynne) Marks and their children Michael Martens. Visitation for Ken will be at Anderson Marry Funeral Home – Adrian Monday, February 16, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm with a Funeral Service taking place at 2:00 pm, A private burial with take place at Lenawee Hills Memorial Park.
