ADRIAN — Dermatology is often associated with cosmetics or skin cancer, but Dr. Iltefat Hamzavi says that’s only part of the picture.
Dr. Hamzavi, a dermatologist serving Southeast Michigan, says the vast majority of dermatology work focuses on medical care and conditions that significantly affect daily life.
Dr. Hamzavi says knowing when to seek care often comes down to how much a condition is affecting quality of life.
