
TECUMSEH — The Tecumseh Events, Activities and Marketing organization has approved the addition of two new members to its board.
The decision was made during the group’s meeting Thursday morning.
Following the vote, TEAM clarified the qualifications required for board membership. Under the organization’s bylaws, board directors must be either a business owner with a physical location in the Tecumseh mailing area, an owner of a commercial building in the Tecumseh mailing area, or a manager designated in writing by a business owner whose business operates within that area.
TEAM also noted that additional qualifications may be added in the future through formal amendments to its bylaws.
The organization works in partnership with the city to promote community events, tourism, and local economic activity in Tecumseh.
No timeline was provided for when the newly approved board members will formally begin their terms.
