CLINTON — Beacon Arts Michigan and Macon Creek have announced a new partnership aimed at expanding access to the arts across rural Michigan.

The collaboration will launch a new signature series called Tales, Legends & Legacy, featuring concerts, youth education programs, workshops, and interdisciplinary projects. Events will take place on Macon Creek’s 175-acre campus, a rural setting located within driving distance of Detroit, Ann Arbor, and Toledo.

Organizers say the series is designed to connect rural and urban communities through artistic storytelling, highlighting how music and visual art reflect shared history and contemporary life.

Programming runs from March through August and includes performances and workshops led by artists from Michigan and beyond. Featured events range from interactive percussion and string quartet performances to youth piano education, mural-based collaborations, and electroacoustic sound installations.

Leaders from both organizations say the partnership reflects a shared commitment to cultural exchange and long-term community engagement.

Schedules, tickets, and program details are available at maconcreek.org/live.
