LENAWEE CO.— All Lenawee County senior centers will be closed Monday due to inclement weather.
The Lenawee County Department on Aging says all senior centers will be shut down Monday, January 26, including Daybreak Adult Day Services. Home Delivered Meals will also not be provided.
Older adults who receive home-delivered meals are encouraged to use frozen meals that were delivered in advance for weather-related emergencies.
County officials say the decision was made to protect the safety of participants, volunteers, and staff during hazardous weather conditions.
The Department on Aging also encourages residents to check on older neighbors, friends, or family members who may need extra assistance during the cold.
Normal operations are expected to resume once weather conditions improve.
