ADRIAN — Renovations at the Lenawee County Health Department clinic are nearing completion, with construction now reported as nearly complete.
Health officials say the final phase of the project includes new coverage installation in the clinic’s medication room. That work is expected to be completed by the end of February.
During the update, officials also noted a temporary staffing change in reproductive health services. The department is currently searching for a new nurse practitioner following the departure of the provider who staffed reproductive health and STI clinics.
Health officials said the nurse practitioner left to focus on family responsibilities.
Despite the staffing change, officials reported that clinic operations remain stable and services continue to be available to the public.
No additional service disruptions were announced.
Further updates on the clinic renovation and staffing are expected later this winter.
