Joanne Louise Yinger, age 94, of Adrian, MI, of Adrian, MI, went home to Her Lord and Savior, peacefully on January 19, 2026, at Lenawee Medical Care Facility. She was born October 2, 1931, in Weston, MI, the daughter of John & Florence (Cole) Reed. She married Francis “Gene” Yinger on her birthday in 1955, he preceded her in death on October 8, 2002. Joanne is survived by her son, Daniel (Kathleen) Yinger; and two granddaughters, Lorraine Ruth Yinger and Bonnie Rose Yinger. In addition to her husband, Francis E. “Gene” Yinger, she was preceded in death by her parents, John & Florence Reed; and her son, Paul Reed Yinger. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Purse Funeral Home, 2959 N. Adrian Hwy, Adrian, MI 49221.
